Garage conversion /ADU/ Room Addition

ADU’s are additional living quarters on single-family lots that are independent of the primary dwelling unit. The separate living spaces are equipped with kitchen and bathroom facilities and can be either attached (attached adu) or detached (detached adu) from the main residence. ADU’s are becoming increasingly common for both single-family homes and multifamily properties across California. Across the United States, but especially in California, communities are experiencing challenges in housing affordability. One potential solution is increasing the production of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)
There are a few basic forms of ADU’s:

• Attached ADU – Are connected to an existing home; such as garage conversions.
• Detached ADU – Are freestanding structures built on the property.
• Interior ADU – Are built inside the primary residence, often in the basement.
